Answer five quick questions and get a clear picture of where your cash flow stands right now.

WHAT I DO

What I handle on your behalf

From building your first forecast to producing monthly management reports, I take the numbers off your plate so you can focus on running your business.

01

Monthly Cash Flow Forecasting

I produce a clear, month-by-month forecast showing your projected income, outgoings, and closing cash balance. You will always know in advance when a shortfall is coming so you can act on it rather than react to it. This is produced as part of the ongoing management accounts service I provide to clients on my Silver and Gold plans.

02

Management Accounts

Management accounts give you a regular picture of how your business is actually performing, not just at year end. I produce these monthly, covering profit and loss, cash position, and any debtors and creditors you need to keep an eye on. They are written in plain English so you can read them without an accounting degree.

03

Bookkeeping and Bank Reconciliation

Accurate cash flow forecasting starts with accurate books. I handle your day-to-day bookkeeping and bank reconciliation so the numbers feeding your forecast are reliable. If your records are not in perfect shape right now, that is fine. We sort that together before building anything forward-looking.

WHY IT WORKS

Why clients come back every year

The difference is not just the forecast itself, it is having someone who responds the same day and explains what the numbers actually mean for your business.

You deal with David, every time

There are no juniors, no handoffs, and no call centres at STZ Accounting. When you have a question about your forecast, you message me directly and I get back to you the same day. That level of access makes a real difference when you need a fast answer about a financial decision.

Over 25 years of real business experience

I spent more than 25 years running and working in businesses before I qualified as an accountant. That means I understand cash flow from the inside, not just from a spreadsheet. I know what keeps business owners awake at night and I build forecasts that address those real concerns.

Fixed prices, no surprises

You get a clear, fixed price before any work starts. There are no hourly billing surprises and no invoices that catch you off guard. That matters when you are already watching your cash position closely.

GETTING STARTED

How it works

Getting a cash flow forecast in place is a straightforward process and I will walk you through every step.

01

Book a free call

We have a short, no-pressure call where I ask about your business, your current financial records, and what you are trying to plan for. You do not need to have everything in order before we speak.

02

Share your financial information

You send over your recent bank statements, invoices, and any existing bookkeeping records. If your books are behind or incomplete, I will help you get them into shape before we build anything forward-looking.

03

I build your forecast

I produce a clear, month-by-month cash flow forecast in plain English. You will be able to see your projected income, outgoings, and closing cash balance for each month so you know exactly what is coming.

04

Ongoing updates and direct access

Your forecast is not a one-off document. I update it regularly as part of your monthly management accounts and you can message me any time if your circumstances change or you need a quick answer. Same-day responses, always.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Common questions

No. Most clients come to me with books that are behind, disorganised, or a mix of spreadsheets and receipts in a drawer. We sort the bookkeeping together first so the foundation of your forecast is solid. You do not need to have everything perfect before you pick up the phone.
For clients on my Silver and Gold plans, cash flow forecasts are produced as part of the monthly management accounts. That means you have a current view of your cash position every single month. If something changes mid-month and you need a quick answer, you message me directly and I respond the same day.
Yes. HMRC requires a cash flow forecast in a receipts and payments format covering at least the current month through to three months beyond the end date of a Time to Pay request. I produce these in the correct format so your application is supported with what HMRC actually needs to see.
Management accounts show you what has already happened in your business over a given period. A cash flow forecast looks forward, projecting what your cash position is likely to be in the coming months based on your expected income and outgoings. I provide both as part of the same ongoing service so you have a complete picture of where you are and where you are heading.
