WHAT I DO

What I handle on your behalf

From your company’s annual accounts through to your personal tax return, I take care of the filings that directors are legally responsible for.

01

Year-End Accounts and Corporation Tax

Every limited company must file annual accounts with Companies House and a Company Tax Return with HMRC. I prepare both, make sure they are accurate, and file them on time. Directors remain legally responsible for their company’s accounts, so I keep you informed at every stage.

02

Director Self Assessment Tax Returns

As a director, you almost certainly need to file a personal Self Assessment tax return each year, covering your salary, dividends, and any other income. I handle your return from start to finish, claim every allowance you are entitled to, and make sure your bill is as low as legally possible.

Covered in Bronze, Silver, and Gold plans
03

Management Accounts and Ongoing Advice

Regular management accounts give you a clear picture of how your company is performing, not just once a year when it is too late to act. I produce monthly reports so you can make informed decisions and spot problems early. If you have a question between reports, you get a same-day response from me.

WHY IT WORKS

Why clients come back every year

Directors need an accountant who responds fast, explains things clearly, and keeps every deadline without being chased.

You always deal with me directly

There are no juniors, no handoffs, and no call centres at STZ Accounting. When you message or call, you speak to me. I know your company, your structure, and your situation. That matters when a question is urgent or a deadline is close.

Fixed prices, no surprises

You know exactly what you pay each month before we start. There are no unexpected invoices when your accounts are more complicated than expected. Directors who have been stung by hourly billing before find this straightforward.

Real business experience behind the advice

I spent over 25 years running and working in real businesses before I qualified as an accountant. I understand what it is like to sit in the director’s chair and face a decision under pressure. The advice I give is practical, not theoretical.

GETTING STARTED

How it works

Getting started takes one short call and I handle everything from there.

01

Book a free call

You book a free introductory call at a time that suits you. There is no sales pressure and no obligation. We talk through your company structure, your current situation, and what you need.

02

I review your position

After the call, I look at where you stand with Companies House, HMRC, and any outstanding filings. If there are gaps or risks, I tell you plainly and explain what needs to happen.

03

You receive a fixed price

I give you a clear, fixed monthly price based on your company’s needs. No hidden extras. No hourly billing. You know exactly what you are paying before anything is signed.

04

I take it from here

Once we are set up, I manage your bookkeeping, accounts, tax returns, and deadlines. You get monthly reports, same-day responses to questions, and the confidence that nothing is being missed.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Common questions

As a director, you are personally responsible for making sure your company files its annual accounts, Company Tax Return, and confirmation statement on time. You must also ensure corporation tax is paid by the deadline. HMRC and Companies House can fine you, prosecute you, or disqualify you as a director if these obligations are not met. Hiring an accountant helps, but the legal responsibility stays with you.
Yes, in almost every case. If you take a salary above the personal allowance, receive dividends, or have any other income to declare, HMRC requires a Self Assessment return each year. I handle this alongside your company accounts so nothing falls through the gap between the two.
Companies House charges automatic late filing penalties for accounts, starting at 150 pounds and rising to 1,500 pounds depending on how late they are. For persistent or serious non-compliance, directors can face criminal prosecution and disqualification. Between January and June 2026, 23 directors were disqualified for a combined total of 70 years for filing failures. Staying on top of deadlines is not optional.
Yes, that is exactly how I work. Your limited company accounts, corporation tax return, payroll, and your personal Self Assessment are all managed together. This avoids mistakes that happen when two different advisers work in silos, and it means you only need to explain your situation once.
